Traffic Speed A835 Through Garve

We have written to Maree Todd our MSP, again for news on the traffic related matters in Garve.

Readers will remember back in March 2025, after we had been asking about traffic measures aimed at ensuring drivers respected the speed limits, thanks to Maree we were told that

"A Collision Investigation of the Gorstan Junction will be carried out in 2025/2026 financial year, along with additional speed surveys to inform any remedial measures required including in Garve itself.

Transport Scotland have asked BEAR to arrange to meet with representatives of the community to hear their concerns directly ahead of their investigation. "

In light of this and having heard no more since March 2025, we have emailed Maree's office with the following request, 

Please can you chase up the investigation date?
We have heard no more since and we only have a couple of months of the 2025/26 financial year remaining.

The community and the Community Council are very keen to have that meeting with BEAR but we have heard nothing from them
We would like to get that set up as soon as possible now given it was promised back in March 2025, please would you pick that up too and let us know when that can be arranged?.
