Yesterday, 21st October 2025 there was a 35 minute Westminster debate on the Impact of Electricity Infrastructure on Rural Communities.
This was a direct action following on from the two Highland conventions on this matter held in Beauly on 14th June and Inverness on 12th August
The debate was led by John Lamont MP. Our MP Jamie Stone attended and spoke briefly only to mention Nuclear power!
Cllr. Helen Crawford who led the debates in Beauly and Inverness was viewing from the public gallery.
