The Highland Council has launched a survey about the housing needs, circumstances, and aspirations of local households.
The Highland Council say is a vital opportunity to support the Council in planning for future housing and housing services the reflect the needs of residents and communities across the region.

The Council is aiming to gather views from a wide range of households to ensure the data reflects the full spectrum of housing needs and aspirations. 

Who should complete the survey? 

• Anyone aged 16 or over
• Residents living in the Highland region
• Householders - this includes people in all types of housing tenures (homeowners, private renters, council tenants, etc.) 
   

The Highland Council ask you to consider supporting this in three ways: 

• Complete the survey yourself – if you live in Highland, your views matter.
• Share the survey widely – please circulate it within your organisation and across your networks. 
• Encourage participation – help reach a diverse range of residents across all housing tenures and age groups. 
   
  The survey only takes around 5-10 minutes to complete, is fully confidential, and is open until 7th November 2025. It’s being carried out by independent researchers at Research Resource.
